1. Mục tiêu khóa học:
Tất cả các khóa học tại Athena đều nhắm đến mục tiêu truyền đạt cho tất cả các học viên những kiến thức được sử dụng trong thực tế. Và chương trình chuẩn được xây dựng bởi Linux Professional Institute (LPI) nhằm cung cấp cho học viên những kiến thức và kỹ năng quản trị hệ điều hành mã nguồn mở - LINUX.
2. Kiến thức đạt được:
Hoàn tất chương trình, học viên đủ khả năng :
- Tìm hiểu sâu hơn về cấu trúc hệ điều hành Open Source. Học viên có thể tự xây dựng hệ điều hành với những tính năng mong muốn, phù hợp với yêu cầu của hệ thống.
- Xây dựng và quản trị hệ thống mạng hoàn chỉnh trên nền tảng hệ điều hành mã nguồn mở Linux từ qui mô nhỏ đến lớn.
- Thiết kế, triển khai, bảo trì, xử lý lỗi và bảo đảm ổn định, bảo mật cho hệ thống mạng đa điều hành (MS, Linux).
- Bảo trì, xử lý lỗi và bảo đảm ổn định, bảo mật cho các hệ thống mã nguồn mở.
- Có đủ kiến thức để tham dự các kỳ thi quốc tế do LPI (Linux Professional Institute) tổ chức để nhận chứng chỉ Junior Level Linux Professional(LPIC-1), Advanced Level Linux Professional( LPIC-2) có giá trị toàn cầu.
3. Phương pháp và điều kiện học tập:
- Phương pháp học lý thuyết phối hợp với thực hành tại phòng lab theo hướng dẫn của giáo viên.
- Các bài học được cụ thể hóa thành các tình huống thực tế để bạn biết cách áp dụng.
- Cuối khoá, học viên tham gia nghiên cứu đề tài theo nhóm dưới sự hướng dẫn và phản biện của giáo viên và đây là cơ hội để bạn đào sâu nghiên cứu từng vấn đề chi tiết.
- Đặc biệt, học viên được tặng máy chủ ảo VPS để thực hành trong quá trình học.
4. Chứng chỉ quốc tế:
- Sau khi hoàn tất chương trình học bạn sẽ được ôn tập, thi thử trên hệ thống thi giả lập của TT Athena để có thể làm quen với kỳ thi quốc tế. Sau đó bạn sẽ thi tại các trung tâm VUE hoặc Prometric.
- Để đạt được văn bằng Junior Level Linux Professional (LPIC-1) thí sinh cần vượt qua 2 môn thi là: 117-101, 117-102.
- Để đạt được văn bằng Advanced Level Linux Professional(LPIC-2) thí sinh đã có LPIC-1 cần vượt 2 môn thi là: 117-201, 117-202.
5. Điều kiện theo học:
Đam mê và đã có kiến thức quản trị mạng căn bản.
6. Thời lượng và thời gian:
- Thời lượng:
+ Khóa Linux LPI-1: 2 tháng, 1 tuần 2 buổi, 3 giờ/ buổi.
+ Khóa Linux LPI-2: 2 tháng, 1 tuần 1 buổi, 3 giờ/buổi.
- Thời gian học:
+ Khóa Linux LPI-1: ca chiều (14h-17h), ca tối (18h-21h), thứ 2-6.
+ Khóa Linux LPI-2: ca chiều (14h-17h), ca tối (18h-21h), thứ 4
7. Học phí:
+ Khóa Linux LPI-1: 2.000.000 VNĐ.
+ Khóa Linux LPI-2: 2.500.000 VNĐ.

Chương trình được xây dựng theo giáo trình của LPI và các tài liệu bổ sung khác, chia làm 2 cấp độ:
